Sam Cardoza is afflicted with a lifelong obsession for astronomy. Much to the chagrin of his sleep schedule, in 2021, he not only rekindled his love of visual astronomy, but also dove into the world of astrophotography. He quickly realized that this hobby brings together his greatest passions in life - art, meditation, travel, the outdoors, science education, and the starry depths of nerd-dom. When he's not babbling about black holes and Saturn's moons, you'll catch him writing scifi novels and spending time with his loved ones in Oakland, CA, or teaching math (and emotional intelligence) at Oakland High School.
